In the 2022/23 academic year, the "Mainland Colleges and Universities Recruiting Students for the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination" will be announced by the Ministry of Education.
The number of mainland institutions of higher learning participating in the program has increased to 129, including the famous Peking University, Tsinghua University and Fudan University.

Compared with the previous 127 mainland universities, two new ones have been added this year: Xiangtan University in Hunan Province and Wenzhou-Kean University in Zhejiang Province. Hong Kong students choose more from mainland universities!

8 places in each secondary school
The minimum admission requirements of participating mainland institutions remain unchanged, that is, the total scores of the 4 core subjects (namely Chinese Language, English Language, Mathematics and Liberal Studies) in the HKDSE must be 10 points or more. And the score of each subject cannot be lower than 2 points.
The plan has a principal recommendation plan, with 8 places in each middle school.

The admission list will be announced at the end of July
Hong Kong students who are interested in participating in the 2022/23 school year HKDSE admission scheme can log on to the designated website to register from March 1 to 31 next year, and then log on to the website before April 10 to check and confirm the results of the qualification review.
All candidates who have passed the registration qualification review must pay an application fee of HK$460 before April 30. The mainland institutions will then arrange interviews based on the student's application information.
The college will announce the list of admissions at the end of July next year and arrange supplementary admissions according to the enrollment situation.
