Good luck for customs clearance!
Hong Kong Chief Executive Li Jiachao said at a press conference on September 1: Guangdong and Shenzhen support "reverse isolation" and will set up a special class to discuss the details.

Guangdong Shenzhen supports "reverse isolation"
Hong Kong Chief Executive Li Jiachao held an online meeting with leaders of Guangdong Province, Guangzhou City and Shenzhen City on September 1. The two sides exchanged views on cooperation between Guangdong, Hong Kong, Guangzhou and Hong Kong.
When meeting with reporters in the afternoon, Li Jiachao said that the "reverse isolation" plan proposed at the meeting was supported by the leaders of the Guangdong and Shenzhen governments, and agreed to set up a special class for the two sides to discuss the implementation details.
"Reverse isolation" means that Hong Kong people going to the mainland are first isolated in Hong Kong, and then enter Shenzhen in a closed-loop manner to comply with the mainland's isolation regulations.
At present, Hong Kong people going to the mainland are required to undergo "7+3" quarantine, that is, 7-day quarantine in hotels (called health stations in the Mainland) and 3-day home quarantine.
Due to the limited number of rooms in the health station in the mainland, the daily quota for the health station in Shenzhen is only 2,000. "Reverse isolation" can save the 7-day hotel quarantine in the mainland and solve the difficulty of insufficient quarantine hotel places in the mainland.

"Reverse isolation" must meet Mainland requirements
Use the Loop as a pilot
The "reverse isolation" Hong Kong special class will be followed up by the Chief Secretary for Administration, Mr Chan Kwok-kee, and the Secretary for Security, Tang Ping-keung, and the Secretary for Health, Mr. Lo Chongmao, will participate in the relevant work.
However, including specific details such as standards and implementation details, quotas, customs clearance ports, and means of transportation to the ports, the special class will negotiate on the epidemic control requirements of the two places, and the specific details have not been announced yet.
Li Jiachao has repeatedly emphasized that "reverse isolation" must meet mainland standards, and will be piloted in the Lok Ma Chau Loop because the entire design of the Loop is for isolation.
At present, the isolation point has not been opened for use. There are about 4,500 rooms and more than 10,000 beds. It is very close to Shenzhen. A temporary bridge has also been built to connect the Shenzhen border with the Lok Ma Chau Loop.
Although the specific details have not yet been determined, the efficiency of this session of the Hong Kong government is full of confidence!
These days, the Hong Kong government has continued to increase the convenience of going north through customs: promoting Shenzhen to change the lottery number, increasing the number of post stations, opening a humanistic care channel for students, increasing the number of places to change to Hong Kong, etc...
It can be said that this government is doing what it says it does. Moreover, Li Jiachao also said that he is "a very impatient person" and believes that the "reverse isolation" plan will be implemented as soon as possible.
Although it is temporarily impossible to travel to and from the mainland without isolation, it is also a good choice to adopt the alternative "reverse isolation", which can reduce the pressure of epidemic prevention in the mainland. What do you think for this?
