From April 1, the Hong Kong section of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link will gradually open inter-provincial trains to Beijing, Changsha, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Wuhan and other cities.
At that time, the number of stations will be expanded to 66 across the country, and the frequency will increase to 164.

Tickets for the newly added high-speed rail trains have been sold since 6:00 on March 23. Passengers can purchase high-speed rail tickets between Hong Kong and the mainland in the following ways:

? Automatic ticket vending (taking) machines;
Route and station adjustment
Due to the adjustment of train services in the Mainland, there will be fluctuations in the following routes and stops of high-speed rail trains at that time:
① Five new stations: Changping, Huizhou North, Heyuan East, Ganzhou West, Shengfang;
② The frequency between Tianjin West Railway Station and Hong Kong West Kowloon Station will be increased at Shengfang Station;
③ From April 10, Huizhou South Station and Huidong Station will adopt new names, namely Huiyang Station and Huidongnan Station;
④ There will be 4 trains traveling between Hong Kong West Kowloon Station and Guangzhou East Station every day. Instead of stopping at Dongguan Station, they will stop at the newly added Changping Station;
⑤ The trains from Hong Kong West Kowloon Station to Shanghai Hongqiao will use the new route, passing through Huizhou North, Heyuan East and Ganzhou West Stations. The total running time is about 8 hours.
