On May 4th, the Guangzhou Pazhou Hong Kong-Macau Passenger Port was officially put into operation. It takes about 2 hours to take a boat from downtown Guangzhou to Hong Kong!
Pazhou Hong Kong-Macao Passenger Port is the first water transportation port complex in Guangzhou that integrates cross-border, intercity, and island functions. It is also the only passenger terminal connecting Hong Kong in the central city of Guangzhou.
The official opening of the port will further promote the interconnection of transportation infrastructure in the Greater Bay Area and the exchanges and integration of Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.
The distance between the two routes is shortened
The first phase of the Pazhou Hong Kong-Macau Passenger Terminal has opened two routes, namely Guangzhou to Hong Kong China Hong Kong City, and Guangzhou to Hong Kong International Airport Skypier.
Its route is put into the operation of "Haizhu Lake" and "Haizhu Bay" carbon fiber high-speed passenger ships, and the whole journey takes about two hours.
This will further shorten the travel time between the central cities of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and accelerate the establishment of a modern comprehensive transportation system in the Greater Bay Area.
Sea-to-Sky combined transport is convenient and efficient
Pazhou Hong Kong-Macau Passenger Port will provide "Sea-Sky Combined Transport" service of boarding in Guangzhou and boarding in Hong Kong.
Passengers traveling across the border can directly check-in for flights of international airlines and check in their luggage at the Pazhou Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal.
After passing the customs and border inspection, you can take a boat directly to Hong Kong International Airport. You don’t need to go through Hong Kong immigration procedures throughout the process, and you can enjoy the one-stop travel service of "Guangzhou check-in and Hong Kong boarding".
It is reported that the Pazhou Hong Kong-Macau Passenger Terminal will add Macau routes in the future to further fill the gap in the water high-speed passenger transport routes from the central city of Guangzhou to Hong Kong and Macau.
Increase investment to realize public transportation
After the completion of the second phase of the Pazhou Hong Kong-Macau Passenger Port, 10 ships will be put into operation to realize public transportation and meet the travel needs of passengers to the greatest extent.
In addition, helicopters and seaplanes will be provided to make the port truly a water transportation hub.

It is reported that the second phase of the Pazhou Hong Kong-Macau Passenger Port will be planned and constructed on the podium of the Pazhou Convention and Exhibition Tower.
Relying on the huge passenger flow of the Canton Fair and the Pazhou Artificial Intelligence and Digital Economy Pilot Zone, a water tourism transportation complex integrating cross-border, intercity, island tours and Pearl River tours will be created.
