Recently, Giorgos Patoulis, President of the Athens Medical Association, and Adonis Georgiadis, Minister of Health, had an in-depth conversation on the topic of “medical visas”.

The price has been officially increased on September 1
Greece has not yet launched the medical visa, but the much-anticipated “Golden Visa” program has adjusted the investment threshold on September 1st.
According to the new policy, the investment amount is divided into three levels: 250,000 euros, 400,000 euros and 800,000 euros, depending on the region and type of property.
The specific details are described below:
EUR 200,000
a) Investment in a building protected by the government and rehabilitation of the building within five years of the first card of the residence permit;
b) Investment in other properties converted from buildings of commercial nature to residential nature.
400,000 euros
Acquisition of a property with an area of not less than 120 m2 and a price of not less than 400,000 euros, in other regions throughout Greece.
800,000 euros
Acquisition of a property with an area of not less than 120 m2 and a price of not less than 800,000 euros in the Attica Region, Thessaloniki Region in Central Macedonia, Santorini, Mykonos and islands with more than 3,100 inhabitants.

What is the value of the program?
