Starting from January 8, 2023, the Shenzhen-Hong Kong port will resume normal exchanges between the mainland and Hong Kong in a phased and orderly manner.
At present, the entry and exit appointment system for Hong Kong and the Mainland has been launched! Let's take a look at how it is arranged

The first stage of Hong Kong customs clearance
Official initial customs clearance on January 8, about 60,000 places per day.
The ports that resume normal customs clearance in the first phase are as follows:
? Shenzhen Bay Port
Customs clearance time: 6:30-24:00
Quota: 10,000 people
? Man Kam To Port
Customs clearance time: 7:00-22:00
Quota: 5,000 people
? Lok Ma Chau Branch Line / Futian Port
Customs clearance time: 6:30-22:30
Quota: 35,000 people
? Shekou Port
Customs clearance time: 7:00-22:30
Quota: Controlled through the ticketing mechanism
? Shenzhen Airport Fuyong Wharf
Customs clearance time: 8:00-21:00
Quota: Controlled through the ticketing mechanism
According to the current arrangement, no appointment is required for the following situations:
? There is no limit on the number of Hong Kong residents traveling from the Mainland to Hong Kong;
? There is no limit on the number of mainland residents traveling from Hong Kong to the mainland;
? People who pass through the China-Hong Kong Ferry Terminal, Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal, Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge Port (only for Jinba passengers), and Hong Kong Airport Port can pass through the border with only a ferry ticket, train ticket or air ticket, about 10,000 people per day.

Bring valid documents needed to go to the destination, such as Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macau Residents (Home Return Permit), Hong Kong and Macau Exit Permit, passport or other travel documents.

Before going to the port for customs clearance, non-Hong Kong residents must use their customs clearance certificate number to complete the online appointment in advance and obtain a valid customs clearance appointment confirmation form.

The daily system opening appointment time is from 6:00 to 24:00. After the user registers and logs in to the system, he can reserve a seat within 7 days (including the day).
When making an appointment in Hong Kong from the Mainland, you can add companions in advance. One person can apply for up to 4 companions, and the companions and the applicant must pass through the customs at the same time.
nucleic acid
Exit personnel must hold a negative nucleic acid test result within 48 hours before leaving the country. The nucleic acid test result includes paper or electronic certificates.
health declaration
Please make a health declaration through the WeChat mini-program "Customs Passenger Fingertip Service" in advance, and fill in the nucleic acid test results into the customs' exit/entry health declaration card.
Exit process
After arriving at the port, please consciously cooperate with the port staff to verify the appointment confirmation form, 48-hour nucleic acid test negative certificate, passport, etc., and go through exit-related procedures according to the procedures and guidelines.
Xiaoxing reminds: All passengers except Hong Kong residents need to make an appointment in advance to pass through the customs, and pass through the customs according to the port and time slot reserved.

Entry from Hong Kong to Shenzhen

Before going to the port for customs clearance, non-mainland residents must enter the system to make an appointment on the "GovHK" website (www.gov.hk) in advance, and obtain a valid customs clearance appointment voucher.
nucleic acid
Entry personnel must hold a negative nucleic acid test result within 48 hours before entering the country. The nucleic acid test result includes paper or electronic certificates.
health declaration
Please make a health declaration through the WeChat mini-program "Customs Passenger Fingertip Service" in advance, and fill in the nucleic acid test results into the customs' exit/entry health declaration card.
Entry process

As for the next step of customs clearance, the Hong Kong government said that the next stage will include adding more ports, such as the high-speed rail that was not available in the first stage, and other ports such as Huanggang, Lok Ma Chau, Liantang Heung Yuen Wai, etc.; the second is to increase the number of people and resume cross-border school children after the Spring Festival Return to Hong Kong for face-to-face teaching every day.
