In 2022, 213 main applicants will be approved in China.
The United States has become the largest group of applicants with 216 main applicants approved, accounting for 17.5% of the total applications, and it is one of the countries with the fastest growth in the past two years.

The overall data of the 10-year golden visa implementation
2012-2022 is the first ten years of operation of Portugal's "Golden Visa" project.
As of the end of December 2022, 11,535 main applicants have been approved for golden visas, and 18,809 dependent applicants have been approved.
Among them, 5,247 golden visas were awarded to Chinese families, accounting for 45%.

The Portuguese Council of Ministers declared by Decree 90/2022:
The legal validity of Portuguese residence documents and visas that expired from March 13, 2020 and within the preceding 15 days can be extended until December 31, 2023.
Portugal becomes the E1/E2 contracting state of the United States
U.S. President Joe Biden signed the "National Defense Grant" for fiscal year 2023, which included AMIGOS ACT, and Portugal officially became a U.S. E1/E2 contracting party.
The bill opens E-1 and E-2 visas to Portuguese citizens, allowing them to trade or make significant investments in the United States.
This means that after becoming a Portuguese citizen, you can immigrate to the United States by applying for a U.S. E-1/E-2 visa.
