From January 2023, Singapore will fully implement the ONE Pass Top Professional Pass!

ONE Pass
Introduction
A new work permit, the Overseas Networks and Expertise Pass (ONE Pass) launched by the Singapore Ministry of Manpower (MOM) to attract top talents in the fields of business, arts and culture, sports, technology, academics and research talent.
Different from previous work permits, this ONE Pass does not set common Singapore work visa restrictions, including quota restrictions, labor costs for paying foreign labor tax, job advertisement requirement restrictions under the Fair Consideration Framework, and complementary professional assessment frame constraints.
Applications for the ONE Pass will open on January 1, 2023.

As Singapore's top work permit, ONE Pass has advantages and privileges that other work permits cannot match.

The 5-year visa duration is comparable to that of a small PR
ONE Pass has a 5-year visa period, and after meeting the relevant requirements, the renewal period is also 5 years. The EP work permit is generally approved for the first time for a maximum of 2 years, and after meeting the conditions, it can be renewed for a maximum of 3 years.

greater employment flexibility
Support multiple companies to work, you can operate and work in multiple companies in Singapore at any time or at the same time.
You can change jobs freely without needing to apply for a pass again.

Unlike EP, which has a quota limit for hiring local employees, ONE Pass does not have this limit and has greater freedom.

It is easier for the spouse to find a job
If the spouse wants to work locally in Singapore, he only needs to obtain the Letter of Consent (LOC) from the Ministry of Manpower and does not need to apply for a separate work permit.

ONE Pass meets any of the following conditions to apply:

Annual Salary Requirements
The fixed monthly income in the past year must reach S$30,000. Overseas applicants must prove that they hold important positions in companies with a market value of more than US$500 million or an annual income of more than US$200 million.

There is no minimum salary requirement for individuals of exceptional achievement in the arts, athletics, sciences, and academics.

Renewal conditions
After 5 years, you can apply for renewal if you meet the following conditions:

ONE Pass can be renewed for 5 years each time. To be eligible for renewal, pass holders must meet either of the following criteria:
? Earn an average fixed monthly salary of at least S$30,000 in Singapore in the past 5 years;
? Start and run a Singapore-based company that employs at least 5 locals and earns at least S$5,000 per person per month.

Renewal information
You will need to provide the following information to the Singapore Ministry of Manpower (MOM) annually:
? Details of all your professional activities in the past 1 year;
? Your annual salary from all professional activities.
ONE Pass Singapore's top professional permit, the first approval is usually 5 years, and you can apply for permanent residence after one year. After the expiration, if certain conditions are met, the contract can be renewed for 5 years, which is equivalent to the existence of a small PR!
