On October 1st, citizens will enjoy the following free activities:
√Free rides on trams, light rail and MTR buses;
√Free services will be provided on these two ferry routes from Tsim Sha Tsui to Wan Chai; and from North Point to Kwun Tong and Kai Tak;
√Children's Octopus passengers can ride the MTR heavy rail for free (including the Lok Ma Chau Crossing at Lo Wu) and the KMB Long Yun daytime route for free.
Sports and entertainment
On October 1st, citizens will enjoy the following free activities:
√Free use of facilities under the jurisdiction of the Leisure and Cultural Services Department, including most public swimming pools;
√ Free admission to the permanent exhibitions of the Science Museum and Space Museum, and special exhibitions of the Science Museum;
√Free admission to the wetland park under the jurisdiction of the Fisheries and Conservation Department;
√ Free access to additional guided tours and workshops of the Revitalizing Historic Buildings Partnership Program projects, including the Blue House, Hong Kong News Museum, Tea Ware Museum, Tai Hang Fire Dragon Cultural Center, and Pok Fu Lam Ranch (end of September to early October)

On October 1st, more than 60 commercial theaters in Hong Kong launched half-price movie viewing events, presenting a feast of movie discounts not to be missed to the audience!
